Jigawa To Provide Special Diet For Diabetic Pilgrims During 2026 Hajj

The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board is set to provide special dietary care for its pilgrims with diabetes during the 2026 Hajj exercise.

This initiative is part of a broader measure to enhance the well-being and health of the pilgrims.

Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo, the Director General of the Board, announced this during his visit to the medical screening centre at the Dutse General Hospital.

Hé emphasized that the move is crucial to ensure a safe and healthy pilgrimage for all.

Alhaji Labbo stated that the welfare and health of the pilgrims are a priority for the board, and they will not relent in their efforts.

He added that special arrangements have been made for three meals daily, a practice unique to Jigawa State.

He thanked the Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, for his approval and continued support towards the welfare of the pilgrims.
