In an effort towards ensuring transparency and accountability , Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board has Set Up a Committee that will oversee the payment if refunds to 2023 hajj pilgrims .
The Chairman of the Committee who is also the Director finance of the Board Alhaji Sagir Abdullahi Inde has been charged with the responsibility of ensuring that all eligible pilgrims that performed the 2023 Hajj Exercise received their refunds, Payment.
Executive Director Alhaji Yunusa Abdullahi Dankama said “the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria recently remit the money to Board and each Pilgrims will receive a refund payment of 61,080 Naira only, The funds was returned by the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Poor Services during the Hajj 2023 exercise.
Already, the committee has made an announcement through the Media Houses in the state informing all Pilgrims who performed the 2023 Hajj Exercise to submit their Hajj Document to their respectives Zonal Pilgrims officers immediately for the refunds Payment.
The Director Operation, Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed serve as the Secretary of the committee.
