SANA Company, a leading service provider for Nigerian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, on Thursday honoured officials of the Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board with gifts and commemorative souvenirs in recognition of their performance during the 2026 Hajj exercise.

The colourful reception, held in Makkah, brought together Hajj service providers, members of the Gombe delegation and other stakeholders in the pilgrimage industry.

Speaking at the event, SANA Company officials commended the Gombe delegation for its professionalism, discipline and effective coordination of pilgrims, describing the state’s Hajj operation as one of the most efficiently managed this year.

The company noted that the officials maintained strong working relationships with service providers and ensured the welfare and comfort of pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage.

Responding, Chairman of the Board and Emir of Dukku, Haruna Rashid Usman, thanked SANA Company for the recognition, describing it as a collective achievement made possible through teamwork and the support of the Gombe State Government.

Also speaking, Secretary of the Board, Sa’adu Hassan, attributed the success of the operation to careful planning, effective supervision and collaboration with service providers and Saudi authorities. He also appreciated Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his support and commitment to the welfare of Gombe pilgrims.

The recognition, according to stakeholders, further reinforces Gombe State’s growing reputation for excellence in Hajj administration and pilgrim welfare.
