The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has directed State Medical Teams to ensure that all Nigerian pilgrims complete their Health Declaration Forms before departing Saudi Arabia for Nigeria.
In a notice issued to state medical officials, the commission said the forms had already been distributed since the departure of the first return flight and urged medical teams to assist pilgrims who are unable to read or write in filling them out.
NAHCON said the measure was necessary to prevent delays at arrival airports in Nigeria, noting that some pilgrims experienced delays at the Lagos airport due to incomplete health declaration forms.
The commission also encouraged literate pilgrims to complete the forms online before departure through a designated link, while calling on State Medical Teams to provide the required support to ensure full compliance.
NAHCON expressed appreciation for the cooperation of state officials in facilitating the smooth return of pilgrims to the country.
