The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has directed all State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards, Agencies and Commissions to deploy officials in charge of Jamraat and Taradudiyya operations for a practical site visit in Makkah ahead of the 2026 Hajj rites.
According to a circular issued on Tuesday by the commission, the exercise is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 3 p.m. at the NAHCON Makkah Office located at Ummul Joud.
The circular, signed by Ibrahim Mahmud for the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the commission, stated that the visit was aimed at ensuring seamless coordination and effective execution of field operations during the Hajj exercise.
NAHCON urged all designated officials to be punctual and fully participate in the site inspection as part of preparations for pilgrims’ movement and crowd management during the stoning ritual at Jamraat.
The commission also conveyed the goodwill of its Chairman/CEO to the state pilgrims’ boards and agencies.
