The Pakistan Ministry of Religious Affairs has begun recruiting temporary staff, including doctors, pharmacists, and paramedics, for the 2026 Hajj Medical Mission. The hiring process is being managed through NTS and requires applicants to be government employees between 25 and 55 years old with at least three years of service. A 30% quota is reserved for women, and a written test will be conducted to assess candidates.
Eligibility criteria
- Must be a government employee (Federal, Provincial, AJ&K, GB) in a relevant medical position up to BPS-18.
- Must be between 25 and 55 years old.
- Must be physically and mentally fit with no chronic diseases or disabilities.
- Must have a minimum of three years of service.
- Must have performed no more than four Hajj duties in the past.
- Must be a Pakistani citizen with a valid Pakistani passport.
Application process
- Applications are being accepted through the NTS website at www.nts.org.pk and the Ministry’s website at www.mora.gov.pk.
- A written test will be conducted via NTS to assess applicants.
- A departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) will be required for those who are selected.
Quotas
- 30% of the positions are reserved for women.
- A maximum of 25% of the total strength will be reserved for “repeaters” (those who have performed Hajj before).
