The Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (PWA) has reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with Islamic organizations to enhance the effective conduct of Hajj operations in the state.
The Chairman of the Agency, Aliyu Musa, gave the assurance while receiving the executive members of Darul Qadiriyya Sokoto, who paid him a courtesy visit in Sokoto.
Musa described Hajj as a core pillar of Islam that requires collective effort, stressing that collaboration with Islamic organizations is essential for proper planning and the successful implementation of Hajj activities.
He assured the visiting delegation of the Agency’s readiness to work closely with Darul Qadiriyya Sokoto and other Islamic groups to ensure smooth and spiritually rewarding Hajj exercises.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Ibrahim Maidamma, Commander of the Darul Qadiriyya Aid Group, commended the Agency for the successful conduct of the 2025 Hajj exercise. He said the visit was to reaffirm the group’s continued prayers, goodwill, and support for the Agency in the discharge of its responsibilities.
