Starting today, Saudi Arabia urges pilgrims to remain in their accommodation, pray in nearby mosque

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued a directive to all hajj affairs offices to restrict their pilgrims from going to Haram for prayers between 12th and 13th ZulHijjah 1446H, which is equivalent to today, 8th and tomorrow, 9th of June 2025

Important circular to all Hajj Affairs Offices, all Pilgrims should be directed to remain in their homes after leaving Mina on 12th and 13th ZulHijjah 1446H.

 

They should not go to Haram. And that this directive must be adhered to as well as complying to the schedule of Tafweej as stated by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Any Hajj Affairs office that defaults will be sanctioned accordingly.

 

Prayers should be conducted in the mosques close to the Pilgrims’ accommodation, and this is for your safety and security.

 

Authorities will monitor, and any default will be dealt with accordingly.
