The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has signed contractual agreements with Saudi-based company Mashariq Aldhahabia for the provision of pilgrims’ services during the 2026 Hajj.
The agreement, signed during the ongoing Hajj and Umrah Conference in Jeddah, officially confirms Mashariq Aldhahabia as the sole service provider for Nigerian state pilgrims in the upcoming exercise.
NAHCON Chairman Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman signed the agreement alongside the Chairman of Mashariq, Muhammad Al-Ameen, in the presence of top officials, including Commissioners Prince Aliyu AbdulRazak (PPMF) and Professor Abubakar Yagawal (PRSILS), as well as the Chairman of the Forum of State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards, Alhaji Idris Almakura, and his deputy, Faruq Yaro of Kebbi State.
Mashariq Aldhahabia had along with Ikram ALDYF, served the state pilgrims during the 2025 Hajj, where it received commendation for their “exceptional and efficient service delivery.”
NAHCON Chairman Professor Abdulkahi Usman Saleh had, during the pre-hajj contract interface, said the choice of Maahariq was based on its commendable services it renders to Nigerian pilgrims during the 2025 Hajj
Additionally, the decision to retain Mashariq follows a new Saudi directive aimed at reducing the number of licensed service providers in each country to enhance coordination and improve pilgrims’ overall experience.
