Saudi Arabia has introduced a new Package Visa pilot initiative aimed at making travel to the Kingdom easier by integrating visa issuance with approved travel packages.
Under the scheme, eligible tourists can obtain a Saudi tourist visa as part of a complete package booked through qualified travel and tourism agencies. The package combines flights, licensed accommodation and electronic visa processing into a single booking process.
Saudi tourism authorities said the initiative is designed to reduce the steps involved in securing travel documents while providing visitors with a more seamless and connected travel experience.
The pilot is expected to boost tourism by simplifying entry procedures and encouraging more international visitors to explore the Kingdom through approved travel operators.
