The Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission has officially released the 2025 Hajj airlift timetable for pilgrims departing from Yola, marking a key step in preparations for this year’s pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to a statement from the Command-and-Control Office of the Permanent Secretary and Executive Secretary of the Commission, the airlift operation will commence on May 14, 2025, and span three consecutive days, with the final outbound flight scheduled for May 16, 2025.

Each of the three flights, departing from Lamido Aliyu Musdafa International Airport, Yola, will transport 486 pilgrims daily to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, where Saudi authorities have reportedly enhanced logistical and hospitality arrangements for the arriving Nigerian contingent.

The return journey for the Adamawa pilgrims has been scheduled for mid-June, with the following dates:

– First Return Flight: June 16, 2025

– Second Return Flight: June 17, 2025

– Final Return Flight: June 18, 2025

Executive Secretary of the Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu, has called for strict compliance with the outlined timetable, urging pilgrims to arrive early at the Hajj camp and observe all procedural guidelines. “Co-operation from all pilgrims is vital to achieving a hassle-free Hajj experience,” he said. “We are committed to providing top-tier services, but success depends on collective discipline.”

The announcement was made public through the Department of Public Communications and Pilgrims Enlightenment of the Commission, underscoring the importance of early awareness and preparation among intending pilgrims.

The Adamawa State Government continues to prioritize coordination and service delivery as the countdown to Hajj 2025 intensifies.
