The Chairman of the Kebbi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Farouk Musa Yaro (Enabo), has declared that the board is fully prepared for the commencement of the 2025 Hajj airlift operations.
Speaking to Hajj Reporters, Alhaji Farouk emphasised that all necessary arrangements have been concluded to ensure a smooth and successful exercise.
“We are operationally ready and fully aware of the expectations of our dear pilgrims towards providing qualitative services both here and in Saudi Arabia,” he said. “That is why I adopted a 24/7 preparation model and encouraged our staff to remain proactive and committed.”
He praised the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Alhaji Nasir Idris, for providing the necessary logistics and resources to support the pilgrims, describing the government’s intervention as pivotal to this year’s preparations.
Despite global challenges in securing accommodation in Makkah, Alhaji Farouk revealed that the board was able to retain lodging for Kebbi pilgrims within the familiar Misfala area, and has negotiated additional services to enhance their comfort.
According to him, Kebbi State has secured the service of an experienced caterer and is fully ready for airlift, with the first flight scheduled to depart on May 9, 2025.
Alhaji Farouk reiterated the board’s commitment to delivering a seamless and rewarding Hajj experience for all pilgrims.
