The Executive Chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Faruku Musa Yaro (Enabo), has commended Kebbi pilgrims in Makkah for their orderly conduct and praised the quality of meals provided during the ongoing preparations for the 2025 Hajj.
During an unscheduled visit on Sunday to the “Kauran Gwandu House,” which accommodates nearly 2,200 pilgrims, Enabo inspected the living conditions, interacted with pilgrims and officials, and personally tasted the food being served.
“I am satisfied with what I have seen. The meals are of good quality, and the pilgrims are well-behaved,” he told journalists after the inspection.
Enabo also acknowledged the efforts of Governor Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) for what he described as unwavering support for the welfare of Kebbi pilgrims.
He met with Islamic scholars providing religious guidance and joined the pilgrims for Isha’i prayers, encouraging them to remain law-abiding, humble, and patient as they prepare for key rites in Mina, Arafat, and Makkah.
He assured the pilgrims that arrangements for their transportation to Mina were in place and that no one would be left behind.
