Saudi Arabian authorities (Mu’assasah) managing Kaduna pilgrims in Makkah have confirmed that approximately 85 buses will be deployed to transport state pilgrims to Muna as they prepare for the core rituals at Muna, Arafat, and Muzdalifah this week.
The Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, revealed this at a planning meeting with all the state-appointed officials in Makkah today.
He said the movement of the pilgrims would commence at midnight on Tuesday, 8th Dhul-Hijjah. This signifies a significant phase in the annual pilgrimage, as over four thousand pilgrims from Kaduna State prepare for the core rituals at Muna, Arafat, and Muzdalifah.
Abubakar commended the state officials for their diligent efforts in ensuring smooth Hajj operations thus far. He urged them to “redouble their efforts” to guarantee that every Kaduna pilgrim completes their spiritual journey without complications and in comfort.
To further ensure pilgrim welfare, the Agency has established 24 operational committees, including Preachers, Catering, Accommodation, media, and others. The Preachers committee, in particular, has been actively engaged in enlightening pilgrims at their accommodations in Makkah, providing essential guidance on Hajj rituals and clarifying the do’s and don’ts of the exercise.
Malam Abubakar also announced a new arrangement has been put in place this year to facilitate pilgrim movement from Arafat to designated tents in Musdalifah before proceeding for the stoning of Jamrah.
