The Makkah Construction and Development Company has signed a SAR372 million contract with Innovative Roots Industrial Company to renovate rooms and associated towers at the historic Makkah Towers.
The company said the 19-month project will be executed in phases to minimise disruption, with work scheduled around peak travel periods to ensure the hotel remains fully operational during Ramadan and the Hajj season.
Opened in 1993, the five-star Makkah Towers is one of the oldest luxury hotels in Makkah. The hotel overlooks the Masjid al-Haram and the Kaaba, making it a popular accommodation choice for pilgrims and other visitors to the holy city.
