The Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Mallam Idris Almakura has expressed shock over the sudden death of Keana #Pilgrims Coordinator Imam Yusuf Sawaba.
During a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Keana Local government area of Nasarawa State, Malam Almakura described late Yusuf Sawaba as a trustworthy individual in dealing with pilgrims.
He noted that the death of Imam Sawaba has left a serious vacuum in the board that will be difficult to replace, urging the family to accept his death in good faith.

His brother who responded on behalf of the family members thanked the board for identifying with them at this critical moment.
Until his death, he was the Deputy Imam of the Central Masjid, Keana, Keana LGA of Nasarawa State and Pilgrims Coordinator Keana Local government.
The Cleric who died on Tuesday 29 August, 2023 has been buried according to Islamic rites at Keana.
He’s survived by children and many relations.
