The Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that the airlift of its 2025 Hajj pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will commence on Sunday, May 11.
According to a statement signed by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu, the inaugural flight will carry 480 pilgrims from Mashegu and Mariga local government areas. The flight, operated by UMZA Aviation Services, will depart from Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna, at exactly 8:00 am.
A second flight is scheduled for 3:00 pm the same day, transporting pilgrims from Shiroro, Mokwa, and Borgu LGAs.
Pilgrims are expected to report at the Hajj Camp in Tudun Fulani, Minna, by 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 10, for screening and final preparations.
The Executive Secretary assured the public of a smooth and well-coordinated exercise, urging all pilgrims and stakeholders to follow the Board’s social media platforms for real-time updates and important announcements.
