With a heavy heart and total submission to the will of Allah, Plateau wishes to announce the death of one of her female pilgrims, Hajiya Jamila Muhammad, on Monday, 2nd of June, 2025, at the King Abdul’aziz hospital in Makka as a result of diabetic complications, according to the medical report
The Executive Secretary of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Daiyabu Dauda, said that when he was informed of the issue, he directed the medical team to immediately take her to the hospital for proper medication, in accordance with the directives of our Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang.
He said the Amirul Hajj, as well as some other officials, along with the relatives of the deceased, attended her funeral prayers at the Grand mosque, and she has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
According to him, just as Allah says, “And whoever leaves his home as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him – his reward has already become incumbent upon Allah.} [Quran 4:100]”
The Executive Secretary wishes to extend heartfelt condolences to the Government of Plateau State, her immediate family, friends and relatives for this irreparable loss. May Allah forgive her shortcomings and admit her into Aljannat firdaus(the highest place in paradise)
