PILGRIMS AIRLIFT NOT AFFECTED BY LABOUR STRIKE

Findings by HAJJ REPORTERS indicates that the ongoing nationwide strike by organised labour in Nigeria has not affected the airlift of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2024.

Aircraft movements monitored on Flight Radar 24 on Monday indicated that Flynas and Air Peace took off from Minna and Ilorin respectively carrying pilgrims.

Also, two Max Air flights returned to the country from Saudi Arabia and landed in Kano.

Again, Max air took at exactly 11:04am today off from Dutse with Jigawa state pilgrims enroute to Saudi Arabia

We have been receiving calls from both Nigeria and Saudi Arabia from persons trying to find out of the strike will affect airlift of pilgrims. As is the case so far, no International flights has been disrupted in Nigeria
