Saudi Arabia launches package preference phase for Direct Hajj pilgrims

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched the Package Preference Phase for pilgrims participating in the Direct Hajj Program for the 1447H–2026 Hajj season.

The ministry said the phase, which is being conducted through the Nusuk Hajj platform, allows prospective pilgrims from eligible countries to review available service packages, compare options based on service level, content and cost, and select up to five preferred packages ahead of the official booking stage.

According to the ministry, the initiative is designed to help pilgrims make informed choices early, while enabling service providers to better prepare for the coming Hajj season.

The Nusuk Hajj platform offers digital tools including package comparison features, popularity indicators, instalment-based deposits through a digital wallet and access to an officially approved list of service providers. Eligible pilgrims were urged to register or update their personal information on the platform and ensure the accuracy of all submitted data and documents.

The ministry also encouraged pilgrims to include family members intending to perform Hajj under the same application to ease verification and speed up approvals.

Reaffirming its position, the ministry stressed that Nusuk Hajj remains the only official and approved platform for Hajj services in countries under the Direct Hajj Program, warning pilgrims against dealing with unauthorised agents or unaccredited service providers.

The ministry noted that the announcement applies only to countries covered by the Direct Hajj Program, adding that Hajj arrangements in other countries will continue through their respective approved channels.
