Minister of Religion Md. Faridul Haque Khan said that Hajj pilgrims did not suffer any kind of harassment and suffering in the Hajj camp due to disruption of airline schedules in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

The Minister of Religion said that in 2020 and 2021 no Haj pilgrim from Bangladesh went to Saudi Arabia due to Corona. Alhamdulillah, Hajj pilgrims did not face any kind of harassment and suffering in the field of Hajj due to disruption of airline schedules in 2022, 2023 and 2024. However, to solve such problems in future, the schedule will be decided together with the airlines based on well-considered opinions.
In response to another question from His Majesty Badiuzzaman, he said that the imams engaged in teaching the mass and children education program in the mosque, seventh phase project, are paid a monthly salary of five thousand taka. With the aim of increasing the religious education programme, the ongoing project is expanded and the imams are guaranteed their monthly salary and Eid bonus.
The Minister said that religious and moral education is being provided to children through the sixth phase project of the temple-based public and child education programme, under the aegis of Hindu Dharma Welfare Trust. This programme is being adopted only to impart religious and moral education to children, but teachers at the centre are being paid Rs. No plan has been made to pay priests through this scheme.
