The Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u Danbappa, has highlighted a significant challenge impeding the processing of Hajj visas for pilgrims: delays in forwarding international passports to the Board.
During an induction course tour held at Doguwa Local Government Area today, Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u Danbappa emphasized the critical nature of timely passport submission in facilitating the smooth processing of Hajj visas for intending pilgrims.
Addressing the gathering, Alhaji Danbappa, represented by the Board Member Malam Ismail Mangu, stated, “The delay in forwarding international passports poses a major obstacle in efficiently processing Hajj visas for our pilgrims. It is imperative that we streamline this process to ensure timely completion and enhance the overall pilgrimage experience.”
Malam Ismail Mangu further underscored the importance of collaboration with the Nigeria Immigration Service and adherence to timelines among stakeholders involved in passport submission and visa processing to mitigate delays and ensure a seamless journey for pilgrims embarking on the sacred Hajj pilgrimage.
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board remains committed to addressing challenges and enhancing efficiency in pilgrimage operations, underscoring its dedication to providing exceptional services to pilgrims.
