In a move aimed at streamlining the 2025 Hajj operations, the Nusuk card issued to Nigerian pilgrims will now be colour-coded for easier identification and coordination.
This development was disclosed during a meeting between the Madina Coordinator of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Abdulkadir Oloyin, and Mashariq Dhahabiyya, one of the key service providers for Nigerian pilgrims.
The CEO of Mashariq Dhahabiyya, Umar Mansur Fadhl Abu-Yazan, assured that the company is fully prepared to receive Nigerian pilgrims and has completed all necessary logistics. He emphasized the importance of early notification of pilgrims’ manifests to facilitate smooth issuance of the Nusuk cards, which grant access to key religious sites like Raudha.
The colour-coding will also help pilgrims easily identify the buses designated for their transport from Madina to Miqat.
The NAHCON team also inspected facilities for passport safekeeping and later visited Ekram Aldyf, another contracted service provider, to evaluate their readiness. Discussions with Ekram Aldyf focused on logistics coordination and improving the sorting of Nigerian pilgrims upon arrival.
Both service providers expressed commitment to a seamless Hajj experience and thanked NAHCON for its continued support.
