As of 23 Dhul-Qi’dah, a total of 717,044 international pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, according to data released by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The arrivals represent 49% of all issued visas, signaling a steady progression toward full attendance for this year’s rites.
The breakdown of entry points shows that 691,429 pilgrims arrived by land, making it the dominant mode of travel. Meanwhile, 22,794 pilgrims entered by air, and 2,821 arrived by sea.
Welcoming the “honored Guests of Allah,” the Ministry reiterated its commitment to ensuring ease and tranquility throughout the pilgrimage. The figures reflect a well-coordinated effort by authorities to manage the annual influx of pilgrims through multiple entry channels.
